    Please join First Lady Tonette Walker on Thursday July 7, 2016 as she walks the historic Elkhart Lake area in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin.

    Participants will gather and park at The Osthoff Resort, 101 Osthoff Ave, Elkhart Lake, WI. Please meet by 9:15am.  The walking route will span a 2-mile loop of the historic Elkhart Lake area including a walk through The Village of Elkhart Lake to Vollrath Park, and then proceeding back to the Osthoff Resort.

    Elkhart Lake combines pristine lakefront views of one of the deepest and cleanest lakes in Wisconsin with historic small-town charm. The area offers unparalleled natural beauty, being located in the middle of Kettle Moraine State Forest.

    Please be advised to wear or bring with you the following: good walking shoes, umbrellas, sunscreen, bug repellent, hat, layers or a jacket, camera, and water.

    Please join First Lady Tonette Walker on Thursday June 9th, 2016 as she walks the River Ridge Trail at Swan Park in Waupaca, Wisconsin.

    Participants will gather and park at the Concession Pavilion, 909 Brainerd Drive, Swan Park, Waupaca, WI. Please meet by 10:15am.  The walking route will span a 1.4 mile loop of Waupaca’s River Ridge Trail at Swan Park and will include a trail section known as the “Story Walk,” which promotes literacy and physical fitness as a part of a “No Child Left Inside” initiative.

    Considered the jewel of Waupaca’s park system, Swan Park offers a large playground, skate board park, ball diamonds, restrooms, concession stands, sledding hill, amphitheater, ice rink and basketball courts. The River Ridge Trail highlights the natural Wisconsin woodland with a mix of dense hardwoods, pines and the shade loving wild flowers.

    Please join First Lady Tonette Walker on Thursday May 12, 2016 as she walks Peninsula State Park in Door County, Wisconsin. 
     

    Participants will gather and park at Nicolet Beach parking lot, 10170 Shore Rd, Peninsula State Park, Fish Creek, WI. Please meet by 8:45am.  Complimentary trolley ride from the Nicolet Beach parking lot to the start of the walk at Eagle Bluff Lighthouse provided by Door County Trolley.   

    Considered Wisconsin's most complete park, Peninsula offers 468 campsites, three group camps, a summer theater, an 18-hole golf course, sand beach, bike trails, a lighthouse and eight miles of Door County shoreline. The rollicking waves skip towards Peninsula's sky high bluffs which are part of the Niagara Escarpment.

    Please join First Lady Tonette Walker on Thursday October 22nd, 2015 as she walks the Superior Municipal Forest in Superior, Wisconsin. 

    Participants will gather and park at the Superior Municipal Forest at 3120 North 28th Street in Superior, WI  54880.​ Please meet at 10:15a.m. to begin the walk. We will walk an approximate 2-mile guided loop through the Municipal Forest, which is the third largest forest within a city in the nation. 

    Please be advised to wear or bring with you the following: good walking shoes, sunscreen, bug repellent, hat, layers or a jacket, camera and water.

    Please join First Lady Tonette Walker on Wednesday October 21st, 2015 as she walks the Horizon Rock Trail and the Pothole Trail in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin. 

    Participants will gather at the Interstate State Park, located at 1275 State Highway 35, St. Croix Falls, WI.  After entering  the park, space for parking is available at the Ice Age Visitor Center. Please meet at 9:45a.m. for the walk to start.  We will walk an approximate 1 mile guided walk along the Horizon Rock Trail and the Pothole Trail.

    Please join First Lady Tonette Walker on Tuesday August 25, 2015 as she walks Bearskin State Trail in Minocqua, Wisconsin. 

    Participants will gather at the entrance to the Bearskin State Trail.  Parking is available near the post office located at 126 Front Street, Minocqua, WI, 54548.  Meet at 9:45a.m. for the walk to start.  We will walk an approximate 1.5-mile guided walk along the trailhead of the Bearskin State Trail to Dr. Pink Drive and back.

    Participants will gather in the parking lot of Cold Fusion Restaurant at 2644 Branch Street in Middleton, WI 53562.​ Meet at 9:45a.m. for the walk to start. We will walk an approximate 2-mile guided walk along the Pheasant Branch Conservancy Trail.

    Please join First Lady Tonette Walker on Wednesday July 29, 2015 as she walks the Great River State Trail in Onalaska, Wisconsin. 

    Participants will gather and park at the trailhead for the Great River State Trail off of 2nd and Irvin Street, in Onalaska, WI, 54650. Meet at 10:00a.m. for the walk to start. We will walk an approximate 2-mile guided walk down the Great River Trail to the steps of the Sunny the Sunfish statue and back to the original starting point.

    Please join First Lady Tonette Walker on Wednesday July 8, 2015 as she walks Fritse Park in Neenah, Wisconsin. 

    Participants will gather and park at Fritse Park at 899 N Lake Street, in the Town of Neenah, WI, 54956.​ Meet at 9:30a.m. at the Peterson Shelter and the walk will start at 9:45 a.m. We will walk an approximate 2-mile guided walk down the Trestle Trail that spans Little Lake Butte des Morts, from Fritse Park in the Town of Menasha to the City of Menasha near the Menasha Locks.

    Please join First Lady Tonette Walker on Tuesday June 23, 2015 as she walks Wyalusing State Park in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. 

    Participants will gather and park at Wyalusing State Park just off County Highway X, in the Town of Prairue du Chien, WI, 53801.​ Meet at 10:00a.m. at the Peterson Shelter and the walk will start at 10:15 a.m. We will walk an approximate 2-mile guided walk down to the Sentinel Ridge Trail and head south to Green Cloud Picnic area and the Passenger Pigeon Monument.
