Please join First Lady Tonette Walker on Friday, July 28, 2017 as she walks along the Restored Prairie through Kiwanis Park in the just under 170-year-old New Holstein, Wisconsin.

Participants will gather and park at the Kiwanis Park Community Center located at 1725 Silvermoon Lane, New Holstein, WI 53061.  Please meet by 9:30 AM.  The guided walk will span approximately two miles, beginning and ending at the Community Center. ​

The Kiwanis park was established in 1957 and covers over 50 acres. The meandering Jordan River runs the length of this park along with a one acre, man-made pond in the center called Lagenfeld Pond. The park includes baseball fields, lighted basketball courts, lighted tennis courts, horseshoe courts, shuffle board courts, a sand volleyball court, a lighted ice skating rink, 18 holes of Frisbee golf, and numerous soccer fields.

Please be advised to wear or bring with you the following: good walking shoes, umbrellas, sunscreen, bug repellent, hat, layers or a jacket, camera, and water.
