New Holstein - Kiwanis Park

Please join First Lady Tonette Walker on Friday, July 28, 2017 as she walks along the Restored Prairie through Kiwanis Park in the just under 170-year-old New Holstein, Wisconsin.
Participants will gather and park at the Kiwanis Park Community Center located at 1725 Silvermoon Lane, New Holstein, WI 53061. Please meet by 9:30 AM. The guided walk will span approximately two miles, beginning and ending at the Community Center.
The Kiwanis park was established in 1957 and covers over 50 acres. The meandering Jordan River runs the length of this park along with a one acre, man-made pond in the center called Lagenfeld Pond. The park includes baseball fields, lighted basketball courts, lighted tennis courts, horseshoe courts, shuffle board courts, a sand volleyball court, a lighted ice skating rink, 18 holes of Frisbee golf, and numerous soccer fields.
Please be advised to wear or bring with you the following: good walking shoes, umbrellas, sunscreen, bug repellent, hat, layers or a jacket, camera, and water.
